| vom 17.08.2010 Project Runway Hi Heidi, It is not that I think about Project Runway day and night, but after I recently saw season 7 on dvd I ended up having to discuss it will all sorts of people. So here are my latest thoughts on the show: 1) given how often Tim Gunn mentions students, maybe one season should be devoted to student work. The contestants could be teams of three people with a coach representing five or six fashion schools. 2) Some season, when there are 12 competitors left, they could each get to design an outfit for a particular month of the year. | vom 16.08.2010 Project Runway Congratulations on season 8 of Project Runway. The show is truly an original and hope many seasons continue. Even though the concept is the same, it never is really the same, as designers, and challenges continue to change. You have made a huge fan out of me. I also want to thank you for making Thurs evening the one time, in this middle aged (45) women's week, something to look forward to. It gives me a chance to escape into a world that I will never have a chance to experience. As high fashion in wisconsin from August to January consists of Green Bay Packer - Green and Gold. At least I can dream of what it would be like to have someone so talented as the designers on the show design an outfit for you. Maybe a challenge for the show is to take random middle age women ages 40-55, sizes 10 -22 and design a outfit to help them feel better about themselves. The price for the outfit would have to be in the range of the everyday middle age, middle income lady. As much as we would love to shop at expensive stores, we tend to shop at Kohl's, JC penny, Yonkers, etc.and if we want to splurge on ourselves, Macy's. I don't know one women who didn't wish they looked like a model and wished they could dress like a model, but everyday life, age and families tend to rob us of our womenhood and feminity and most of all self esteem. Anyways, Thank you Heidi for being such a wonderful role model to women everywhere. Thank you for creating a show that can bring high fashion to a low fashion middle age wisconsin women.
